Jeff,
Please feel free to distribute this letter to anyone who needs further justification to hire you as their Personal Trainer or to participate in the classes at JET Functional Fitness, LLC.
I hired you as my Personal Trainer in 2009. I have had numerous surgeries and injuries including a dislocated knee that, due to the nerve damage, has left me with a drop foot and numbness in my left leg. Many years of a sedentary lifestyle resulted in my weight reaching 345 pounds.
Immediately, you prepared a training program that day-by-day allowed me to reach my current weight of 215 pounds or a weight loss of 130 pounds! With the intense workouts and improved diet, I am much more fit than ever before and my muscle mass is dramatically greater.

Jeff,
After having trained with you for the past few months I feel compelled to write you this and tell you how both Heather and I feel about our personal training experience. I want to start off by saying how extremely happy both Heather and I are with all you have done for us during our personal training. I have commented to you before on your professionalism, your personality and everything about your business that makes us feel so welcome, and part of a family committed to fitness. Your level of commitment to seeing your clients succeed in there fitness goals is second to none…

On February 3, 2004, in a matter of seconds, my life took a turn when oncoming hwy traffic crossed the center line. You might not think much of them ~ car accidents are abundant. Even though my injuries were only broken bones, (crushed metatarsals in my R foot – I needed donor bone; a dislocated L radius & ulna, which plowed thru & smashed my L elbow – they built me a new one & a broken L tibia), I spent 2 months in a rehab center & had 5 months of physical therapy.

I started working out with Kettlebells a little over a year ago and Jeff Key has been my Trainer most of that time. My motivation for trying Kettlebells was to lose weight. As of this morning I have lost 50 pounds. For me doing working outs in classes with a trainer is something I have been able to stick with, there is no way I could go to a gym and work out on my own on a continuous basis. As a bonus I have gained strength and energy, when I started I weighed 356 pounds and I was king of the couch potatoes and now I just bought cross country skis and I’m looking forward to getting my bike out in the spring. The classes offered at JET Functional Fitness, LLC are unique, convenient and affordable. I really can’t imagine a better program for total body fitness and believe me when I say if I can do it anyone can.

I just wanted to update the progress I have made while working out at JET Functional Fitness, LLC. I reported in February I had lost 50 pounds, since then I have lost another 30. It’s tuff to take all the comments I get now about how good I look and how much weight I’ve lost. This past week even a cashier in a store I shop at noticed and asked me what I was doing. At the same time I’ve maintained if not increased my strength. I’ve enjoyed riding my bike this summer, over 300 mile so far, and I have not ridden my bike in years. I still have work to do but I look better and more importantly I feel better and I could not have done it without Jeff K and Jeff E at Jet Fitness. Thanks guys!!!!!!
Sincerely
Joe Schweda

I have been participating in JET Functional Fitness, LLC adult exercise classes for the past three months. Never having taken part in any type of organized training, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had been having lower back problems for quite some time and was hoping that strengthening my core would give me some relief.
My original plan was to sign up for 6 weeks or twelve sessions, and then if it helped, continue with what I had learned on my own. I don’t think it took a full month before I noticed improvement and it wasn’t just with my back. These were definitely full body workouts.
After my “trial” period ended, I signed up for another 6 weeks. I decided it would be easier (not to mention healthier) for me to give up a couple nights out or a shopping trip here and there than it would be to miss out on the classes. I’m glad I did and I would have missed out because Jeff Ehrike, the trainer, continually introduces new exercises. No two sessions are ever the same.
I hit 50 this year and I am not slowing down. In fact, since signing on with JET Functional Fitness, LLC, I’m speeding up! I am stronger, have considerably less back pain and a lot more energy!
You guys are great! Thank you!

In July of 2008 my employer began offering Personal Health Assessments that tracked biometrics and healthy lifestyle habits. My second PHA was in January 2009. When the results came back and were trending in all the wrong directions, I asked how much of that was due to being a year older. The answer, none! That was tough to swallow. I am harder on myself than anyone else and the shape I was in was no one’s responsibility but my own.
In 2009 we had a “Biggest Loser” wellness activity that I participated in. By simply changing my diet, I dropped 20 pounds pretty quick. To keep the momentum going, I joined a local gym and started using weight machines three times a week and running. This worked great over the summer. I had a lot of extra time to devote to exercising and I was definitely on an upswing. Fall rolled around, time was nowhere to be found, my workout routine became boring and the results just weren’t there. The first thing to go was exercise, then the diet slipped and I was back to beating myself up for not reaching my goals. My 2010 PHA was better, some of the weight stayed off but I still had a long way to go. When spring rolled around I became a regular at the gym again. Three days a week of weights and running. I started to see results and remember wearing my favorite suit at the time and feeling really good in Oct 2010. Unfortunately, I had a repeat of 2009. Time was scarce and the routine became really boring again. I didn’t look forward to working out and it was easy to come up with a reason not to go to the gym…

All I have for JET Functional Fitness, LLC is praise. Such an awesome group I’ve had the pleasure of training with this last year. I’ve had some major ups and downs in the past few years with injuries, including a discectomy and fusion in my neck, fractured femur, plantar fasciitis and more, and the trainers at JET make sure I have correct form and technique and help me to strengthen my weak areas to avoid any more injuries. The classes are fun and WOW, what a work out! I come away with arms and legs of jelly and I love it! I’ve noticed a great change in my muscle tone and in my running! Their kettlebell workout is an all around great workout and helps with overall fitness, not just overall strength. My running is stronger, my stamina is better. Love this place and look forward to going….until I see what Jeff has written on the white board, then some days I wonder what I got myself into, but it’s always worth it! LOL!
